Spencer Headlines ‘All in Exhibitor Assembly’ At CARS

HICKORY, NC – Jimmy Spencer, former NASCAR driver and current analyst for SPEED TV will be the keynote speaker for the ‘All in Exhibitor Assembly’ at the second annual Carolina Auto Racing Show (CARS).

The assembly will be at 9:30 AM on Friday January 4th and is free to all exhibitors that are a part of CARS 2013. The colorful, Spencer will share stories and experiences and is sure to get everyone in attendance in the racing mood.

A native of Berwick, PA Spencer quickly rose through the short track ranks before hitting the NASCAR Busch Grand National Series in 1985. Ironic enough, Spencer’s first Busch Grand National win came at the famed Hickory Motor Speedway in 1989. Hickory Motor Speedway is located less than five miles from the Hickory Metro Convention Center which is the host facility to CARS. Spencer notched his first career NASCAR Winston Cup Series victory in the 1994 at Daytona International Speedway.

Known throughout the racing community as ‘Mr. Excitement’ his nickname that was earned on the track has carried over to his television career. He is well known for speaking his mind and his speech at CARS is sure to be no different.
