VACANCY – US MOTORSPORT ELECTRONICS ENGINEER

Based in Mooresville, USA we are looking to recruit an experience motorsport electronics engineer to  work in this growing business, with an already strong brand presence and excellent reputation within its  sector, we offer the variety of being involved with a multitude of teams and manufacturers. Reporting to  the General Manager your responsibilities will include:

•Visiting customers to discuss requirements, measuring and designing of harnesses.
•Track support for customers at tests and races.
•Manufacture of high quality, complex, multi-leg wiring looms to a military standard.
•Conduct site visits to commission electrical systems or provide technical support
•Customer Service and sales – Identifying new business and liaising with current customers.

Skills required:
•Ability to manufacture high quality, complex, multi-leg wiring looms to a military standard
•Producing harnesses using Raychem System 25 products
•Ability to contra wind cable layouts
•Experience of using CIRRIS test equipment
•Experience of harness discipline within the aerospace/defense or Motorsport industries.
•Understanding of electrical theory
•Experience of fault finding on vehicles
•Experience in designing wiring harnesses for a variety of different vehicles and hardware  manufacturers
•Experience using Microsoft Visio to product harness layout drawings
•Knowledge of ECU Hardware, Experience of Dash Display and Power Control Module  Programming
