Vehicle Combination Length Regulations for Motorsports Transportation
North Carolina’s current legislation provides that tractor and trailer combinations that do not exceed 90 feet may be legally operated on all state highways provided they are traveling “(1) to or from a motorsports competition event; (2) for trips conducted for the purpose of purchasing fuel or conducting repairs….on the competition vehicle; (3) for other activities related to motorsports purposes.”
